Koishikawa Korakuen

Koishikawa kourakuen is a park in Bunkyo ward in Tokyo. The park was made in 1629. That time was Edo period. Founder is a son of the first Edo shogun(president). This place were designated both a Special Historic Site and a Special Place of Scenic Beauty. Such park are only 2 in Japan! So it’s rare. You can see pound, little mountain, trees, Japanese style bridge, rice field, and more! Furthermore, you can enjoy to meet many creatures live in natural environment. You will be able to feel “wabisabi” by 5senses!

It opened from 9a.m. to 5p.m. You can enter until 4:30 p.m. During New Year’s season is closed.
